FAQ

FAQ

How much does a typical song cost?

Typical rates per song range from $150/song to $250/song depending on the complexity of the piece and the services requested for the song (i.e. recording your song yourself and sending in stems for mixing & mastering vs. having the full tracking, mixing, and mastering done in-house, etc.)

What if I already recorded my song(s), but just need someone to mix/master it?

We LOVE working with stems! Just be sure that you have the complete stem files for your song(s) and that when they are sent over, all tracks are exported as at minimumĀ  .WAV in 24bit at 44100 samples in a .ZIP file. Our rates for mixing/mastering vary depending on the project’s stem track count.

As mentioned above, we offer a free test mix to all potential clients. Test mixes are to be sent in this format as well.

What if I have a song idea, but haven’t recorded anything before?

We pride ourselves in being a networking hub for all artists who have worked with us in the past. If you have a song idea and need musical composition for your work, please email us with your inquiry and we’ll have one of our producers contact you for further details on the direction, sound, and overall vibe of the piece before we work out a quote. Please note that composition work is a different service from mixing and mastering.

When will my mix be ready?

Mixes typically take 7-10 business days per song, unless recorded/submitted for work in a bundle (i.e. compilation album, full length LP, EP, mixtape, etc.) unless otherwise stated by the producer on the project. When mixes are complete, artists will receive an invoice with a detailed list of the work the producer put into the song(s). A audio-stamped version of the mix will be sent for testing, and if the artist is happy with the mix, we will send full mix and master files of the song(s) after the balance has been fully paid.
